Until further notice I will be continuing to post a written post along with pictures. I hope that will make those happy that wanted to have something written along with pictures.
Here at the Hostel over the last three days I have met a Russian, Canadians, Tasmanian, people from all over the U.S., a South African and a lot of College students out here on their break.
Let's see who I meet in the coming days.
Till then,
Grizz

DO NOT SEND MAIL TO THE FRANKLIN MOTEL, IT DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE
Over the past weekend I found out that the Franklin Motel in Franklin, NC was torn down in the past year. It was not noted in the issue of the Thru-Hikers Companion that I had.
I know that it will upset some people that they wanted to send me items or letters at that location.
Please send those items to the next location on the list that you feel comfortable with; such as Damascus. VA, Waynesboro, VA or Harpers Ferry, WV for examples.

As of March 5, 2014 these are the sponsors that are on board for the journey to Katahdin.
I would like to Thank All of My Sponsors for their support in my quest to thru-hike from GA>ME in 2014. This will bring closure to my life in that, all of the pictures and mementos that I lost when my home burned downed in 2006 will be replaced with new memories, mementos and pictures.
This will bring to a close of my Blog writings and will continue with all photos from here on out until the end of the trip.
Thank you all for watching and reading these writings and I hope that you will enjoy the pictures as much as I will, as I take them.
Do not forget to Google into L/A Magazine and read the newest article each month covering my journey northward to Katahdin.
See you in Maine!!!

Less Than Two Days to go before I leave and head south and it seems like the wheels are falling off the cart. Yesterday when getting tickets for the trip the computer stopped working and I had to start again. So I started again and thought that all was good. Today, I find out that the credit card got charged for both of those tickets; so I had to undo the one ticket and insurance that was on it. Boy, are computers fun!!
Yhea Right. They are a pain.
Let's see what happens tomorrow when I pack my pack for the last time. Till Then.
